In 2012, Simply Equine Design was born of my desire to produce both unique portraiture and a practical product for the equestrian. In creating the portrait stall sign, I have been able to achieve a functional piece of art. What began as personal project has grown into a thriving endeavor.
Each piece is a one-of-a-kind. Hand-painted with love and care in rural New Hampshire.
Small portraits are my specialty, although I do offer options for larger requests.
I am Jennifer Fisher. I am an artist, a photographer, a designer and a mom.
I was bit by the horse bug before I could talk, and by the age of three was begging for a pony. My notebooks were filled with sketches of horses and summer days were spent laying in the grass at the near by farm photographing each and every horse.
In the summer of 1999, I created my first stall sign—for a very special thoroughbred I was lucky to call my own for the summer. From there the rest is history.
